Gabriel Milby is a photojournalist from Louisville, Kentucky, studying photojournalism at Western Kentucky University.
Gabriel’s passion for photography manifested in his final year of high school, where he took a class for his school’s newspaper and yearbook. This experience led him to WKU, where he would learn to sink or swim in the field. During his time at WKU, he has also worked for the Talisman and the College Heights Herald, both of which have helped grow his portfolio.
So far, Gabriel’s photo journey has taken him all over the United States. From Kentucky, to Washington, D.C., and to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM where he has learned how to adapt advance his technical shooting skills.
After leaving WKU, Gabriel hopes to secure a full-time job at a newspaper or magazine focusing on photojournalism, one that covers life itself through both the good moments and the hard ones.
